Rafael Nadal has revealed he received a text message from Andy Murray after experiencing heartbreak last month when Arsenal sent his beloved Real Madrid side crashing out of the Champions League.
The Gunners won 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg, with Declan Rice scoring twice and Mikel Merino also on target.
And they then beat Real 2-1 at the Bernabeu in the second fixture following second half goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.
Nadal is a huge Real Madrid fan and has even been tipped to potentially become president of the club one day.

Arsenal went on to lose to PSG in the semi-finals of the competition.
And Nadal has now opened up on what Murray, who is a huge Gunners supporter, texted him after the frustrating tesult.
He stated: “My good friend Andy, we were not in touch for a while.
“The day that Arsenal beat Real Madrid, when the match just finished, after one second, he text me a message, telling me, ‘Hey, Rafa, haven’t spoken to you in a while. Just checking in to make sure you are okay.’

“So honestly, [it] takes me like five seconds to realise what I was reading, because at the beginning, I said, ‘Okay, he’s such a nice guy. He’s asking about how I’m doing, family.’
“After five seconds, I said, ‘This British sense of humour.’ By the way, I didn’t text him back when PSG beat Arsenal.”
Arsenal haven't won a trophy since 2020.
They remain adamant that Mikel Arteta is the right man for the job, however, with the Spaniard sent to spend big on reinforcements.

As for Real, they endured a rare trophyless season under Carlo Ancelotti.
They were pipped to both LaLiga and the Copa del Rey by fierce rivals Barcelona, who flourished under Hansi Flick.
Real have already taken action, with the Spanish titans agreeing a deal with Bournemouth for defender Dean Huijsen.
They're also expected to seal a deal for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has already announced his departure from Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Nadal was emotional on Sunday at a special French Open ceremony for the 14-time winner.
The tennis star was joined by Murray, as well as Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, for the special event.
Nadal, fighting back tears, said: "At the end, now, it's all about being happy about everything that we achieved.
"At the end, all of us achieved our dreams."

Turning to his old rivals, he added: "After all these years fighting for everything, it's unbelievable how time changes the perspective of everything.
"You don't know yet, Novak. Probably you know already, Andy. With Roger, we have talked about it a couple times.
"All of the nerves, pressure, strange feelings you feel when we see each other when we are rivals — it's completely different when you finish your career."
